One time, there was a town in Hawaii called Honolulu. A volcano exploded. The whole town ran out of town. Everyone was running on the shore. They suddenly saw there was a baby. The whole town was shocked and didn’t know what to do with the little one. Tyler and Vanessa Parks picked him up and took him as their own. They named him Bret Parks. It was 2012. Bret had a dream to become the next 2013 X GAMES champion. He knew every trick. Everyone called him Parks because that’s what he liked to be called. He could jump higher than the Twin Towers on his bike. He was as fast as a cheetah. One day, Bret Parks was looking for a job.He knew he would need money in order to become a champion. A bike manager hired him. His boss found out he could build a bike in 60 seconds. One day his bose asked to see him in his office. When Bret walked in his seemed conerned. His boss said, “We need to talk.” “I know I’m getting replaced. I heard that theres a machine that can build a bike in less then sixty seconds,” Bret told him. Bret’s boss suddenly came up with an idea. “We can have a build off on Friday to see who is better. The one that finishes first, gets the job.” “Deal. Friday, 1:00.” Bret spent that week practicing building bikes in sixty seconds. He used all of his free time taking apart bikes and putting them back together. He was getting record timing. When Friday came, Bret was prepared for the build off. When it was time, Bret’s boss said, “Let’s go. On your mark get set, go!” In the beginning, the machine was in the lead. It suddenly got jammed by a part. So Bret ended up finishing building his bike with five seconds to spare. “Bret, you can keep your job!” yelled his boss. Bret walked out the door happy. His boss saw his hat sitting there, and ran after Bret to give it to him. Bret was gone and no one ever saw him again. In the end, the machine ended up getting the job. People say that every once in a while they can see Bret BMXing around the world.
